ACS Relay for Life plans bowling party

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Tamaqua and Surrounding Communities is sponsoring a bowling party in celebration of local cancer survivors. Local survivors, family and friends are welcome to attend the party this Sunday, Feb. 28, 5-7 p.m., at the Spare Time Bowling Alley, located in the Wal-Mart Plaza in Hometown. There will be no fees or charges for participating cancer survivors.

The ACS considers a person to be a survivor from the time of diagnosis through the balance of their lives, whether or not they are in remission.
