CERT training course scheduled for March
The Carbon County Emergency Management Agency will be hosting a Disaster Emergency Preparedness Training Course for the citizens of Carbon County in March.
The dates of the three-day course are March 1, 8, and 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Carbon County EMA building in Nesquehoning.
The training is a FEMA/PEMA supported course called CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
The general public is encouraged to sign-up for this training along with anyone already involved in the emergency services. This course is also ideal for township and borough officials such as councilmen, supervisors, mayors, public works personnel and anyone involved with community leadership.
