Named Senior of The Month at Weatherly

Erin Sarosky, daughter of John and Susan Sarosky of Weatherly, and granddaughter of Dorothy and "Duke" Reiner of Weatherly, and Ann Sarosky of Drums and the late John Sarosky Sr., has been named Senior of The Month for January at Weatherly Area High School.

Sarosky is a member of the Weatherly Area High School chapter of the National Honor Society, the Interact Club, the Scholastic Scrimmage team, and the yearbook staff.

In the community, she created the Weatherly Community Library Youth Volunteer Team, and does additional volunteer work with the Interact Club and NHS. She is a member of Hazleteens, and an alumnus of Hazleton Junior Leadership, and is involved in the Great Backyard Bird Count.

Sarosky has studied piano for eight years and dance for 14 years, and has been a dance student teacher for four years. She is employed at the Weatherly Country Inn.

In addition to school-related activities, she is active in Our Lady of Lourdes church, where she volunteers at the annual church festival and other fundraisers. Sarosky also participated in World Youth Day 2009.
