Marian Mock Trail team picks up two wins

Marian Catholic's team of Mock Trial attorneys and witnesses cruised into victory at the Services Center in Reading for a chance at the quarterfinals. Marian earned an 18 point win over Northampton and another victory over Boyertown. The Marian Catholic team competed against Pine Grove on Tuesday evening, to end up just two points shy of moving into the quarterfinals of competition. The case was presided over by Judge Jeffrey Sprecher of the Court of Common Pleas, Berks County. Participants included, front from left, Maria Montero Hoppes-Team Legal Advisor, Briana O'Donnel, Victoria Vetter, Christina Leone, Molly Balliet, Mary Connors, Stephen Valente Back Row, Dominic Montero, Kaitlin Smulligan, Judge Jeffrey Sprecher-Court of Common Pleas, Berks County, Chelsea Sheehan, Emma Boyle, Tiffany Grutza, Emily Burger, Bernie Forgotch-Teacher Advisor. Missing from photo is Team Legal Advisor Attorney Jean Engler.
