Tamaqua DUI
A Tamaqua driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident on Wednesday, Feb. 24, along Interstate 81 in the area of the McAdoo exit in Kline Township, Schuylkill County.
State police at Frackville said troopers were conducting a patrol clearance about 10:40 p.m. when they found a 2000 Toyota Corolla stuck in the snow on the median. The driver was identified as Ajay Bajaria, 24, who showed signs of intoxication.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the barracks where he submitted to a breath test.
Troopers said a DUI charge will be filed against Bajaria.
