Tamaqua snow emergency

At 10 a.m. Friday, Tamaqua Mayor Christian Morrison issued a snow emergency declaration for the borough. The declaration means all non-essential travel has been prohibited. The emergency will continue until further notice. Motorists may be fined and have their vehicles impounded.
