Granted divorce

Cathryn L. Brackman was granted a divorce from John M. Brackman, both of Pottsville. They were married April 14, 2007.

Sentenced

Bruce Colin Didget, 32, Auburn, on a charge of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller to be placed on strict probation for three years, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee and costs of prosecution. He was committed to the Schuylkill County Adult Probation's intensive probation sex offenders program and must register as a sexual offender.

He was ordered to submit to a sex offender evaluation and follow any treatment recommended, will not own, possess or view photographs, magazines, movies, video tapes, web sites or emails depicting or illustrating nude men, women or children; will not accept employment involving children, such as school bus driver, scout leader, day care worker, coach, Sunday School teacher etc.; has to submit to a search of his computer periodically; have no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18 years of age; is not permitted to visit places where children congregate, such as playgrounds, amusement parks, etc. and will refrain from participating in any youth group activities.

Debra Ann Zerbey, 49, Port Carbon, on a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol was sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to serve 30 days in the county prison beginning Tuesday, March 16, at 9 a.m., followed by four years and 11 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), pay a fine of $1,500, pay $300 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, a $50 monthly supervision fee, complete the DUI school and intensive outpatient counseling, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, and when on probation install an ignition lock on her car steering wheel and submit to mental health assessment and follow any treatment recommended. On a charge of striking a parked truck in the 500 block on N. Centre St., Pottsville, was fined $300 plus $50 costs. Zerbey was cited by Patrolman Michael Stank, Pottsville police.

Sets bail

Following a hearing bail was set at $10,000 percentage cash for Chevonne Martinson, of Four Seasons Court, Hazleton, by Judge D. Michael Stine with special conditions that she shall not relocate from his current residence without a prior court approval, shall not use, transport, or have in her possession any alcohol, or controlled substance unless prescribed by a medical provider and shall be subject to random drug testing by the county's adult probation department. She faces drug charges.

Revenue earnings

Revenue earnings in the county treasurer's office from sale of licenses in January were, dog licenses, $2,093; fish license, $26; hunting license, $3; bingo license, $530 and small games of change, $5,075. Other revenues, magistrate fees, $57,895.57; land telephone tariff for 9-1-1 Emergency Center, $78,345,93 and hotel tax, $12,480.87.
