L. Towamensing Twp. auditors to reorganize

The Lower Towamensing Township Board of Auditors are set to reorganize.

The board is scheduled to hold its reorganizational meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the township Municipal Building.

At that time, the board is expected to fill both a six-year and four-year term.

The third auditor position is an existing two-year term.

The auditors set the yearly compensation paid to employed supervisors.

The township hires an outside accounting firm to audit the township financial reports each year.
