Thirteen area residents among 42 arraigned
Thirteen area residents were among 42 who entered pleas of not guilty to criminal charges filed against them when arraigned Monday before District Attorney James P. Goodman at the Schuylkill County Courthouse and all requested trial by jury. They were:
Michael Lee Reed, 30, of 369 W. Ridge St., Coaldale, was charged by Chief Timothy Delaney, Coaldale police, with theft of a rifle and shotgun from the home of Orvel Reed, 169 W. Moser Ave., and was charged by Sgt. Keith Krapf, Coaldale police, with burglary of the home at 6 E. High St., theft of a television and other personal property, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property.
Charles J. Durning, 27, Lansford, was charged by Cpl. Henry Woods, Tamaqua police, with simple assault, endangering welfare of a child and harassment.
Thomas Rhoades, 57, of 158 Angel Drive, New Ringgold, was charged by Patrolman Jason Lorah, West Penn Township police, with resisting arrest.
Raymond G. Anderson, 32, of 50 Schuylkill Road, New Ringgold, was charged by Cpl. Duane Frederick, Rush Township police, with fleeing police, driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, driving while his operating privileges were suspended and reckless driving on Claremont Avenue.
Ricky Charles Nelson, 32, of 103 N. Lehigh St., Tamaqua, was charged by Sgt. Richard Weaver, Tamaqua police, with delivery of a controlled substance (CS), possession with intent to deliver and possession.
Jonathan W. R. McCoy, of 248 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh, Rush Township police, with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failing to drive on right side of State Park Road.
Christopher A. Field, 18, of 214 E. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, was charged by Sgt. Richard Weaver, Tamaqua police, with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.
Laura Marie Hager, 18, of 118 W. High St., Nesquehoning, was charged by Sgt. Richard Weaver, Tamaqua police, with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Eric Arnold Hoffman, 44, of 365 Mush Dahl Road, New Ringgold, was charged by Officer Danielle Mowery, West Penn Township police, with DUI, possession of a CS, driving while his license was suspended, failing to obey a traffic controls signal, driving improper on a one-way roadway, careless driving and exceeding the maximum speed limits.
Jeremy Michael Miller, 20, of 43 E. Market St., Tresckow, was charged by Trooper Thomas Powell with corruption of minors, selling for furnishing alcohol beverage to minors and underage drinking.
John Michael Wronski III, 22, of 425 E. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, was charged by Patrolman Timothy Wirtz, Mahanoy City police, with criminal conspiracy, two counts of robbery by threatening another person with bodily injury, burglary, criminal trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Andrew Victor Seritti, 23, of 1233 E. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, was charged by Patrolman Timothy Wirtz, Mahanoy City police, with criminal conspiracy to commit burglary.
Robert John McManus, 21, of 306 E. Centre St., Mahanoy City, was charged by Lt. John Kaczmarczyk, Mahanoy City police, with DUI of drugs, careless driving, failing to activate turning signals when required, failing to drive on right side of road and failing to have driver's license.
James Robert Hunsinger, 31, Junedale, was charged by Trooper John Sleboda with theft of a stereo from the car of Casey Montgomery, 34 W. Blaine St., McAdoo, valued at $200 and sold to a buy and sell store in Hazleton for $60.
John Kenneth Guidice, 24, Manville, N.Y., was charged by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, Pine Grove police, with DUI, DUI of drugs and alcohol, failing to drive at a safe speed and improper driving on left side of road.
Michael Barry Guigley, 31, Pine Grove, was charged by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko with DUI and failing to drive at a safe speed.
Derrick R. Warfel, 21, Tower City, was charged by Trooper Thomas Hornung with selling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors.
Thomas Michael Moyer, 42, Shenandoah, was charged by Chief Shawn Tray, West Mahanoy Township police, with DUI and careless driving.
Joseph Lombardo, 57, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, was charged by Patrolman Robert Senape, West Mahanoy Township police, with fleeing police, DUI, recklessly endangering another person, failing to yield to emergency vehicle, driving without an official inspection certificate, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, careless driving, reckless driving, failing to wear a seat belt, failing to activate turning signals when required and disobeying stop and yield signs.
Leonard James Bridges, 48, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Mark O'Hearn, Ashland police, with simple assault, recklessly endangering and harassmemt of Laurie Grose.
Michael Anthony Segura, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Michael O'Neill, Ashland police, with DUI, DUI while a minor, failing to obey stop and yield signs and underage drinking.
Leonard James Bridges, 48, Ashland, was charged by Chief Adam Bernadin Jr., Ashland police, with aggravated assault of a police officer, simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct and by Patrolman Mark O"Hearn, Ashland, police, with possession of an instrument of crime (knife), simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, criminal attempt to commit criminal mischief and harassment.
Joseph Ryan Powell, 18, Frackville, was charged by Patrolman Michael O'Neill, Butler Township police, with possession of a CS.
Anthony Scott Drumheller, 31, Tower City, was charged by Trooper Michael Crane with DUI when stopped on Grand Avenue and Fourth Street, Tower City, and failing to activate turning signals when required.
Robert R. Herb, 31, Hegins, was charged by Patrolman Troy Maurer, Hegins Township police, with DUI, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, driving while his license was suspended and careless driving.
Matthew Thomas Mahute, 22, Lancaster, was charged by Trooper David Mayes with DUI.
Deanna Ashley Christman, 20, Allentown, was charged by Trooper Brent Spleen with DUI, following another vehicle too closely, failing to drive at a safe speed and careless driving.
Michelle Marie Miller, 38, Shenandoah, was charged by Trooper Michael VanBuskirk with DUI, violating restrictions on alcohol beverages in vehicle, failed to have car lights on during required period and failed to wear seat belt.
Joyce Ann Barowski, 47, Shenandoah, was charged by Chief Matthew Nestor, Shenandoah police, with DUI and failing to have car lights on during required period.
Alex Joseph Fogarty, 20, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, was charged by Patrolman Robert Senape, West Mahanoy Township police, with fleeing police, failed to yield to approaching emergency vehicle and failing to operate vehicle in safe manner.
Seini N. Gustitus, 22, Tremont, was charged by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver and possesssion in Ashland.
Eric Zendrosky, 23, Ashland, was charged by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver and possession in Shenandoah.
Jessica Lynn Wenrich, 19, Ashland, was charged by Chief Edward Tarantelli, Butler Township police, with theft from Turkey Hill Mini Mart in Lavelle while employed at the store.
Jason Thomas Kerstetter, 20, Pottsville, was charged by Chief Edward Tarantelli, Butler Township police, with theft by taking items from Turkey Hill Mini Mart without paying on collaboration with Jessica Wenrich.
David Richard Zerby, 20, Pottsville, charged by Chief Edward Tarantelli, Butler Township police, with theft by removing items from Turkey Hill Mini Mart, Lavelle, without paying in collaboration with Jessica Wenrich.
Elizabeth Iona Cohen, 37, Stroudsburg, was charged by Trooper Arthur Wink Jr., with possession of a small amount of marijuana in her purse when visiting the correctional institution in Ryan Township and disorderly conduct.
Michael Jarod Schultz, 19, Frackville, was charged by Cpl. Marvin Livergood, Frackville police, with disordely conduct and criminal mischief to a truck.
Gary Joseph Romanot, Girardville, was charged by Officer Philip Schlegel, Girardville police, with four counts of terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disordelry conduct, harassment and public drunkenness.
Stephen Zendrosky, 21, Ashland, was charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver and possession in Ashland.
Brian Keith Donner, 25, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Mark O'Hearn, Ashland police, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Chloe Marie Petusky, 21, Shenandoah, was charged by Patrolman Anthony Kankowski, Frackville police, with DUI of drugs, recklessly endangering another person, careless driving, reckless driving and failing to drive on right side of road.
