Carbon business cited by PLCB
A Carbon County business had been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Hickory Run Restaurant, located at HC1, Box 90, SR534, in Albrightsville, Kidder Township, was cited for possession or operating gambling devices or paraphernalia or permitted gambling or lotteries, poolselling and/or bookmaking on licensed premises. The alleged violation occurred between Nov. 20 and 22, 2009.
The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension of revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
