Carbon County salary board established positions, salaries

On Monday, the Carbon County Salary Board set salaries for county employees covered under collective bargaining units. The rates are effective from Jan. 1.

AFSCME UnionPositions and Rates

Commissioners' Office

• Established the position of one mail/postage coordinator at $14.34 per hour

Tax Assessment Office

• Established the position of one assessor at $16.87 per hour;

• Established the position of three clerks at $14.77 per hour;

Tax Claim Office

• Established the position of one clerk at $14.77 per hour

Geographic Information Systems

• Established the position of one G.I.S. technician at $16.05 per hour

Maintenance Department

• Established the position of one lead carpenter at $18.01 per hour;

• Established the position of two maintenance II at $15.64 per hour;

• Established the position of one maintenance II at the prevailing rate;

• Established the position of three cleaning persons at $13.49 per hour

Archives

• Established the position of one clerical aide at $11.22 per hour;

• Established the position of one parking meter attendant/archives assistant at $11.22 per hour

Cooperative Extension

• Established the position of one clerk-stenographer-receptionist at $15.77 per hour

Corrections

• Established the position of two LPNs at $19.08 per hour

Communications Center

• Established the position of four senior dispatchers at $16.58 per hour;

• Established the position of one 911 operator at $15.42 per hour;

• Established the position of six 911 operators at the prevailing rate;

• Established the position of one 911 center/EMA aide (also EMA office) at $14.33 per hour

Area Agency on Aging

• Established the position of one clerical aide at $11.22 per hour

Parks

• Established the position of two maintenance II at $15.64 per hour;

• Established the position of one parks aide at $14.33 per hour
