January 7, 1970 - In a battle of Panther Valley CYO League unbeatens, St. Ann's stayed perfect at 6-0 with a 64-54 triumph over St. Jerome's. St. Ann's offense was led by bob Miller with 20 points, Dave Bales with 19 and Phil Delpero with 16. Jim Welsh of St. Jerome's finished with 22 points as the seventh grader too game-high honors. Den Yelito added 15 for the losers.
