Monroe driver facing DUI count
A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident on Friday, Jan. 8, about 10:15 p.m.
State police at Lehighton said Michael Canfield, 35, of Blakeslee, was stopped along SR209 in Polk Township, near Mill Pond Rd., at a sobriety checkpoint. He was found to have consumed alcohol and was placed under arrest.
