More thefts at local ski resort

State police at Lehighton reported on more theft incidents at the Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Jennifer Marberger, 39, of Honey Brook, Chester County, reported her Alibi brand snowboard with Burton bindings was removed from the upper ski lodge sometime around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8.

Matthew Joseph Gonder, 18, of Perkasie, Bucks County, reported his Burton snowboard was removed from a rack at the Summit Lodge at the resort sometime between 6:15 and 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10. The value of the snowboard was listed as $600.

Emily Bergen, 18, of Downingtown, Chester County, reported her yellow/white K2 brand snowboard with silver/blue bindings was removed from the upper ski lodge area sometime between 9:45 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 4.

Troopers urged patrons of the ski resort to utilize the ski/snowboard check-in to avoid becoming another victim of theft at the resort. Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
