Slatington votes to purchase new server
At Slatington's regular meeting of council held Monday night President Galen Freed opened the meeting by holding a moment of silence for the recently deceased Marie Scheffler, who worked for the Borough for 10 years.
Council voted to purchase a new server from Keystone Technologies LLC, and they approved the purchase of a subscription for a telephonic calling system from Swiftreach Networks for water updates. Council decided to go with a $100 unlimited annual subscription to the service.
"With the unlimited, I think that's the way to go. You can use that for any number of things," Councilman Paul Hoffman said.
