Arrests made for Schuylkill break-in

Four persons have been charged with a burglary that occurred last November at a Schuylkill County business.

State police at Frackville said Charles Huhn, 18, Anthony Edmondson, 19, Thomas Stanton, 20, and a 17-year-old male juvenile, all from Girardville, have been charge this week in connection with a break-in at Girardville Beverage, located at 700 E. Main St. The burglary occurred between 5 p.m. on Nov. 24, and 4 a.m. on Nov. 25.

Entry was gained by cutting a hole in the overhead steel door. Removed was a cash register and numerous cases of beer. Total damages to the business was set at $2,740.55 and total estimated loss property was $213.49.

The four have been charged with burglary, criminal trespass and criminal conspiracy, all felony twos; theft and receiving stolen property, misdemeanor ones; and criminal mischief, misdemeanor two.

The juvenile will be charged through the county's juvenile probation office, troopers said.
