Break-in of vehicles probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating the break-in of three vehicles reported this week.

Troopers said the unlocked vehicles of John Eisenmann and Christopher Lake, were entered while parked near their residences at Preachers Camp Rd., in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, sometime between 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, and 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Troopers said several items were removed from the vehicles including moisture reading tools, a laptop computer, a digital camera, sunglasses, a wallet and a retired police officer's badge.
