No injuries in Schuylkill mishap

No one was injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, along Gordon Nagle Trail, in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Karen M. Gavalis, 60, of Minersville, was eastbound in a 2004 Ford Mustang when the front left bumper of her vehicle struck the right rear side panel of a 2000 Dodge Neon driven by Megan Williams-Blackmon, 23, of Pottsville. Blackmon was stopped attempting a left turn at the time, troopers said.

Troopers said Gavalis will be charged with driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
