An accident occurred at Geisel's crossing on the Central Railroad of New Jersey at Weissport at 8:30 p.m. when passenger train No. 109 struck an automobile driven by Thomas Mahf, 20, of Tamaqua. He was badly injured sustaining a fractured skull. He was rushed to Palmerton Hospital. When struck, his car was 70 feet below the crossing. Apparently he lost the road at the canal crossing and in his confusion drove down the railroad. Many motorists have come to grief at the same crossing.
