Monroe driver facing DUI count
A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).
Pocono Mountain Regional police said Michael Streznetcky, 28, of Tobyhanna, was westbound on SR940 about 2:12 a.m. on Jan. 9 and tailgating another vehicle. Police said Streznetcky's vehicle almost ran into the other vehicle several times and was swerving all over the road.
A traffic stop was made and Streznetcky was found to be under the influence. He failed field sobriety tests and was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, where he submitted to a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, police said.
