St. Joseph's 8th grade girls get five wins

8TH GRADE

St. Joseph's-OLOAA

St. Joe's topped Our Lady of Angels Academy on Dec. 1, winning 39-16.

Gabby Green led the team with 14 points. Emily Sofranko added 11.

St. Joseph's-Mahanoy City

Emily Sofranko and Gabby Green scored 15 and 13 points respectively and helped St. Joe's beat Mahanoy City, 49-19 on Dec. 3.

All nine girls on the team scored.

St. Joseph's-McAdoo

Gabby Green scored 18 points and led St. Joe's to a 52-27 victory over McAdoo on Dec. 8.

Emily Sofranko chipped in with 14.

St. Joseph's-St. John's

St. Joe's held St. John's to just four points back on Dec. 10 and went on to win big, 34-4.

Gabby Green and Emily Sofranko each scored ten points in the win.

St. Joseph's-OLOAA

On Dec. 12, St. Joe's knocked off Our Lady of Angels Academy for a second time, winning 33-17.

Gabby Green scored a game-high 17 points, while Emily Sofranko added ten.

6TH GRADE

St. Joseph's-OLOAA

St. Joe's topped Our Lady of Angels Academy, 25-11 on Dec. 1.

Maureen Kloap had a game-high 17 points in the win.

St. Joseph's-McAdoo

St. Joe's got the best of McAdoo on Dec. 8, winning by a score of 45-7.

Erin Shigo led St. Joe's with 12 points. Teammate Danielle Spillman added ten.

St. Joseph's-St. Peter's

St. Joe's downed St. Peter's on Dec. 10, 35-7.

Maureen Kloap led the locals with 14 points.

St. Joseph's-OLOAA

St. Joe's beat Our Lady of Angels Academy once again on Dec. 12 by a score of 31-15.

Maureen Kloap tallied 17 points in the game.
