Palmerton board hires coaches

Palmerton Area School Board on Tuesday unanimously approved the following coaching positions for the 2010-11 school year:

- Paul McArdle was rehired as football head coach at $5,671.

- Steven Hicks was rehired as boy's soccer head coach at $3,730.

- Jeff Minnichwas rehired as cross country head coach at $3,730.

- David Lavin was hired as golf coach at $2,243.

- Bethany Rowland was rehired as cheerleading head coach at $2,243.

- All salaries are based on the current negotiated contract.
