The engagement of Heather Bowman, Danville, to Jesse Goshert, Palmyra, Pa. has been announced by her parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Janice Bowman of Ashfield. She is a 2002 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a nurse at Janet Weiss Children's Hospital in Danville.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jim and Cindy Goshert of Palmyra. He is a 2004 graduate of Faith Academy in the Philippines. He is currently attending Millersville University, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work.
A wedding date has been set for June 11, 2011.
