Man charged by liquor board

A Monroe County man has been charged by the state liquor control board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office with supplying alcohol to minors.

According to the complaint filed by the liquor board Brendan Aaron McFarlane, 21, of Mt. Pocono, was observed purchasing alcohol at the state liquor store in South Main Plaza, Wilkes-Barre, on Jan. 2 about 7:05 p.m., and then giving it to two underage males.

McFarlane was charged with two counts each of furnishing alcohhol to minors, a third degree misdemeanor, and furnishing alcohol to certain persons, an ungraded misdemeanor.

The charges were filed with District Judge Andrew Barilla, of Wilkes-Barre.
