Birth: Lash

A son, Gavin Mitchell Lash, was born at 12:38 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2009 at Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, to Chris and Margaux (McGinnis) Lash of Phoenixville.

He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

Gavin was welcomed home by his 3-year-old sister, Gabriella Marie.

Maternal grandparents are Jim and Karen Cimms of Jim Thorpe; and Charles McGinnis of Hillsborough, N.J.

Paternal grandparents are Nancy Lash of Bally, Pa., and the late Irv Lash.

Maternal great-grandparents are Marie and Francis Tkacik of Blakeslee; Gerda McGinnis and the late Charles R. McGinnis Sr. of Somerset, N.J.; and Mavis and the late Leo Cimms of Baytown, Texas.

Paternal great-grandparents are the late Irv and Edna Lash, Minersville; and the late Stanley and Anna Matas, St. Clair.
