Properties purchased in Schuylkill judicial tax sale
The Schuylkill County Tax Claim Bureau, which acts as trustees of properties it had acquired for non-payment of real estate taxes, recently held a judicial tax sale and sold properties to the highest bidder.
Among the purchases, according to the deeds recorded at the Schuylkill County Courthouse, area property transactions included:
To Brendon A. Beatrice, Branchburg, New Jersey, property at 83 Third Street, East Union Township, sold for $2,249;
To James F. and Anne M. Dorner, Dillsburg, property on west side of Mohawk Drive, Eagle Rock Resort, East Union Township, sold as property of Maribeth Ruggiero, for $854 and property on south side of Arapahoe Lane, Eagle Rock Resorts, North Union Township, sold as property of Kevin Barry, $823;
To Mid County Resources, LLC, Jim Thorpe, property at 1308 Walnut Street, Ashland, sold as property of Wiliam F. and Ellen M. Smith, $3,631; property at 616 Arlington Street, Tamaqua, sold as property of Chery L. Cummings, $8,896, and property at 26 East Elm Street, Tamaqua, sold as property of Antoinette R. Walters, $4,900.
