Monroe crash

All but one person involved in a three-car crash in Towamensing Township Wednesday escaped without injury, and the injured person was only slightly hurt, according to a report released by state Trooper Brian J. Cawley of the Lehighton barracks.

The accident happened at 8:25 a.m. on Route 209 when a vehicle operated by Shawn M. Noonan, 37, of Lehighton, was traveling north. Noonan was unable to stop in time, striking a vehicle driven by Angela M. Rotella, 36, of Palmerton. The impact pushed Rotella's vehicle into one driven by Erica M. Biege, 34, of Palmerton.

Rotella sustained minor injuries.
