Paul Grecian to speak at Palmerton Camera Club

Published January 25. 2010 05:00PM

Photographer Paul Grecian from Quakertown will be the featured speaker at the Palmerton Camera Club on Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5th and Lafayette, Palmerton.

Paul's mother was an artist working in pastels, charcoal, and watercolor. He inherited her skills and appreciation but chose photography as his medium. He studied animal behavior and ecology in college which gave him an understanding of how living things react to their environment.

Nature photography is his forte, and the subject of his program.

Prior to Paul's program member, Dwain Herman will tell how to put fancy borders around images using Photo Shop.

As always, visitors are welcome to attend this meeting.

The club's children's shopping day was a big success, serving around 60-70 kids. They plan to definitely do it again next year.
