Schuylkill driver facing charges

A Schuylkill County driver is facing charges following an incident about 12:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, in the 200 block of Pine St., in Kaska, Blythe Township.

State police at Frackville said Alexa Murin, 20, of Kaska, was driving a 1997 Toyota T100 when she backed it into the front of a 2006 Volkswagon Passat, that was legally parkied at the above stated location. After impact Murin fled the scene, troopers said. She was later located.

Murin will be charged with accidents involving damages to unattended vehicles and driving while under suspension.
