Holy Trinity Lutheran Church holds talent show to aid Haiti earthquake victims
For the last several years Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Palmerton has held a Talent Show as a way to chase away the winter blahs.
This year for the first time a free will offering will be collected and sent to Haiti through the Lutheran Church relief program.
The Holy Trinity Troupers, the Sunday School children, Jr. and Sr. Choirs, Resurrection Ringers, and the Ushers, will warm up the audience for the real talent.
Tim Walck of Palmerton will be the special guest star. Tim was born and raised in Palmerton and graduated from Mansfield University with a degree in Music.
He is currently an Applied Music Instructor for woodwinds at Lycoming College. He has performed frequently in the area. He will share some of the Cabaret music he played for his recent job on a cruise line.
Refreshments will follow the program.
So please set aside Saturday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5th and Lafayette, Palmerton. It's sure to be an evening of fun and an easy way to do a good deed.
