Interactive Art exhibition at Stonehedge
Stonehedge Gardens in Tamaqua has opened a new art gallery and will feature a different artist each month.
February at Stonehedge Originals will showcase an Interactive Art Exhibition by Lauren Hamby.
The exhibit will include original paintings in oils, collages, as well as pieces resembling colorful Rorschach inkblot tests. Visitors will be encouraged to leave their perception of what they see, as well as read other's interpretations.
Defining abstract shapes help us to see that imagination lives in all. The purpose of these works in to inspire communication between the viewers, showing one another how differently we can think, as well as natural patterns in the human mind.
The show will be on exhibition throughout the month of February. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
A gallery reception will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5.
