Two arrested for fight outside bar
Two brothers were arrested for assaulting a person outside a Monroe County bar.
Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the Jubilee Bar along SR940 in Pocono Pines about 2:23 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, to a reported fight in the parking lot.
Upon arrival officers found Michael Neace, 36, of Long Pond, and Jason Neace 32, of Pocono Pines, both under the influence of alcohol and acting belligerent toward police.
Officers learned from a 32-year-old male from Pocono Pines, that the two Neaces' had assaulted him. He had visible facial injuries, police noted.
The two Neaces' were placed under arrest and charged with simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Jason Neace also had an active warrant for his arrest issued out of Luzerne County for simple assault.
The investigation is continuing and more charges are pending, police said.
