Woman charged with assault
A Monroe County woman is facing several charges after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic incident.
State police at Fern Ridge said Marianne Strausser, 47, of 3319 Strausser Lane, in Jackson Township, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 26, about 8:20 p.m. at her residence on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.
Troopers said she stabbed her boyfriend with a steak knife after a domestic dispute. Troopers did not release the name of the victim or indicated if he required medical attention.
