Attempted break-in probed in Monroe

State police at Lehighton are investigating an attempted burglary at a Monroe County property.

Troopers said someone attempted to open the garage door on the property of Jerome Davis, 44, of 118 Birch Drive, Gilbert, Polk Township, about 6:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, but failed and then fled the scene.
