Melber graduates from Arcadia Univ.
Rebeka Melber of Albrightsville received bachelor of arts in international relations from Arcadia University in Glenside, Philadelphia. She is a May 2010 graduate. She also received a certificate for Intelligence and Homeland Security through Point Park University with FEMA certifications accompanying that certificate.
While at Arcadia which she chose for its reputation for international study abroad, she studied in London's City University, the same school Tony Blair attended, and while there was assigned as an ambassador for the school as an American student. She also visited many countries including Austria, Serbia, Hungary, Greece, Germany, Brussels, Croatia, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, to name a few.
She spent a summer in Mexico building homes for the needy on a volunteer program through Arcadia.
She also studied in her second year of studies, in South Korea and again was asked to be an American ambassador to American Dignitaries who attended the prestigious Woman's University EWHA, the school she attended while there. The program was in inclusive program designed to learn the language while studying abroad.
While in Korea she visited Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines.
While in the states and on campus, she also started on the volleyball team at Arcadia.
She is currently living with her husband, who is in the Marines in North Carolina, and plans on continuing her education in graduate school in the field of international studies/securities and intelligence
She is a 2007 graduate of Jim Thorpe High School.
