Lehighton couple celebrates 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Sparich of Lehighton, formerly of Nesquehoning, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were married on July 1, 1950 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Nesquehoning.

Mrs. Sparich is the former Maria Dardas, daughter of the late Magdalene and Ernest Dardas of Lansford.

Mr. Sparich is the son of the late Anna and Michael Sparich of Nesquehoning.

The couple has three children: Nicholas Jr., Ernest and Christina.

Also, Mr. Sparich celebrates his birthday on June 30, while Mrs. Sparich celebrates her birthday today, on July 2.
