Truck tractor crashes on I81

State police at Frackville reported investigating a crash involving a truck tractor along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County, that occurred about 3 a.m. today.

Troopers said Jeremy Stum, 31, of York Haven, York County, was driving a 2003 International 9400i tractor with trailer northbound in the right lane when the passenger side front impacted with the guide rail and concrete wall of a bridge. The rig continued north riding the bridge wall until the end, then landed in a ditch on the southeast side.

Stum sustained a minor injury in the crash with damages moderate to the passenger side of the rig. Troopers cited Stum for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
