Driver cited for DUI in Lehigh

A Danielsville driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in Lehigh County that occurred about 9:18 p.m. on Monday, June 28, along Interstate 78, in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Zachary Guy Cuff was operating a 2001 Dodge Intreped eastbound when he stopped for going 86 miles-per-hour in a 55 zone. As troopers pursued Cuff he was observed crossing the fog line three times with his car and onto the south shoulder where he was stopped.

He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing.
