Luring, exposing incident probed

Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating an attempting to lure a child and indecent exposure incident that was reported by two juveniles on Tuesday, June 29.

Police said about 1:05 p.m. a 15-year-old female, and her 14-year-old brother, both from the Pocono Pines area, were walking along SR940 in the area of the Tobyhanna Elementary Center when a maroon in color sports utility vehicle (SUV) pulled up from behind and stopped the girl.

The girl told police the driver rolled down his passenger side window and began asking her questions. When she walked over to the window she observed the driver had his genitals exposed and he was masturbating.

She said she screamed and yelled to her brother "run" and both fled to the nearby library and called police.
