Three juveniles charged with theft

Three male juveniles were charged with retail theft following an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said the three, ages 12, and two 16, all from Mt. Pocono, were charged for an incident on Wednesday, June 30, about 4:30 p.m. at the Walmart store in Mt. Pocono.

The three removed fireworks from its packaging and concealed them into small backpacts and then left the store without paying for the items.

The three were taken to police headquarters, processed, and then released to the custody of their parents. The three will be charged through the county's juvenile probation office.
