Hometown couple wed 40 years
Mr. and Mrs. George Blasko
Dorothy and George Blasko Jr., of Hometown, recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 27, 1970 in St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church, Brockton, by the Rev. John Elias.
Dorothy is the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Zuber of Summit Hill.
George is the son of the late George and Pauline Blasko Sr. of MaryD.
Both were employed by John E. Morgan in Hometown until production ceased, with a combined total of 68 years.
George has since been with TransWestern Polymers in Hometown, while Dorothy has been employed by Simmons Bedding Manufacturing in Humboldt.
The Blaskos enjoy traveling and marked their anniversary with a recent trip to Cancun, Mexico.
They are the parents of a son, Mark, and have a granddaughter, Gabrielle.
