Three area players named LVL All-Stars

Three area players were named to the Lehigh Valley Leion Baseball League All-Star team. The squad was announced at a meeting of the league coaches on Tuesday night.

Ryan Blasko of Lehighton made the team as a pitcher while Nate Kester and Kyle Creyer of Northern Valley were named at first base and third base respectively.

Following is the entire team:

Catcher: Joe Abeln, South Parkland

First Base: Nate Kester, Northern Valley

Second Base: Andrew Ebner, Salisbury

Third Base: Kyle Creyer, Northern Valley

Shortstop: Matt Bahnick, North Parkland

Outfield: Andy Brandstetter, South Parkland

Outfield: Derek Herman, Coplay

Outfield: Matt Tulio, North Parkland

Designated Hitter: Brian Ernst, Salisbury

Pitcher: Ryan Blasko, Lehighton

Pitcher: Daniel Shaw, South Parkland
