Vehicle stop leads to drug arrest

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported a vehicle stop led to the arrest of the driver on drug charges.

Officers stopped a vehicle operated by Cantrell Coleman, 27, of Tobyhanna, about 6:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, along Hunter Drive, in Coolbaugh Township, for an equipment violation. Further investigation led to police using narcotics dog K9 Niko. Niko located several ounces of marijuana concealed in the trunk.

Coleman was placed under arrest and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
