Jim Thorpe Phmaracy and Getz's Transportation wontheir first two contests to stay unbeatenin Jim Thorpe Summer Basketball League play.

Monday, June 28

Jim Thorpe Pub-Jim Thorpe National Bank

Three players hit double figures as Jim Thorpe Pub cruised to a 74-42 victory over Jim Thorpe National Bank.

Steve Haldeman paced Jim Thorpe Pub with 16 points, while John Hontz and Brad O'Donnell followed with 15 and 14 respectively.

Jim Thorpe National Bank's Steve Calcano led all scorers with a game-high 24 points.

Getz's Transportation

-Highland Beverages

Getz's Transportation got the best of Highland Beverages for a 66-53 win.

Ben Flizack and Kyle Busocker both led Getz's Transportation with a team-high 14 points. Eric Busocker finished with double figures with 12.

Highland Beverages' Brad Hurley recorded a game-high 28 points, while Derick Reis added 12.

M. Chunk Pharmacy

-St. Luke's Rehab

Mauch Chunk Pharmacy edged St. Luke's Rehab for a 66-63 victory.

Mauch Chunk Pharmacy's Jason Miller recorded a team-high 16 points, in which he scored 11 of those with a perfect 11-for-11 performance at the charity stripe. Ian Miller followed right behind his cousin with 16 points, in which he posted a seven-for-seven performance on the foul line. Chris McLaughlin and TJ McKeon chipped in with 12 and 11 respectively.

Regardless of the setback, John McGinley and Don Reis accounted for 77-percent of St. Luke's Rehab's points as both netted 28 and 21 on the night.

Mauch Chunk finished the opening week unbeaten thanks to a nail-biter of a 76-73 win over Highland Beverages.

Jason Miller went on a terror for Mauch Chunk Pharmacy and finished with a game-high 30 points. Kysheem Lynch chipped in with double figures with 16 points.

Sam Lux had Highland Beverages' hot hand as he finished with a team-high 23 points, while Brad Hurley hit double digits with 13.

St. Luke's Rehab-Jim Thorpe National Bank

St. Luke's Rehab didn't let a win slip out of its grasps this time as it posted a 59-45 victory over Jim Thorpe National Bank.

St. Luke's Rehab's John McGinley led all scorers with a game-high 16 points, while Duke Blauch hit double digits with 10.

Steve Calcano paced Jim Thorpe National Bank with seven.

Getz's Transportation-Jim Thorpe Pub

Getz's Transportation remained in the unbeaten ranks with a 58-50 win over Jim Thorpe Pub.

Getz's Transportation's Eric Busocker rippled the chords for a game-high 23 points, while Ben Flizack added double figures with 12.

Tony Stoeckel and Steve Haldeman both paced Jim Thorpe Pub with 13 points.
