Valley Athletic still sits in first

Valley Athletic Supply still sits at the top of the standings of the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission's summer volleyball league after another week of play. Sandstorm picked up six wins this week to stay in second place.

Sandstorm took all three games against Pup N' Suds by scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-9. Christa Mantz had 21 service points, including five aces, for Sandstorm. Kyle Nevenglosky scored 14 service points, including six aces.

Volleyball Cronies-Prestige Worldwide

Volleyball Cronies swept Prestige Worldwide 25-21, 25-13, 25-23. Mike Stockmal was the leader for Volleyball Cronies with 15 service points, and Chris Fallabel added seven services points.

Christi Truskey had nine service points for Prestige Worldwide.

-Highwood USA

Valley Athletic Supply continued their winning ways by sweeping Highwood USA 25-17, 25-15, 25-16. Devin Parambo had 23 service points for Valley Athletic, and Christa Vrabel had 10 service points.

Highwood USA was led by Taylor Baddick's six service points.

Valley Athletic Supply was able to take two of three games against Pup N' Suds, posting scores of 27-29, 25-12, 25-12. Christa Vrabel's 11 service points topped Valley Athletic Supply, and Nicole Leonzi had nine service points.

Pup N' Suds was led by Cailin McCullion's eight service points.

Volleyball Cronies-Highwood USA

Volleyball Cronies defeated Highwood USA in the last two games after dropping the first game, the scores were 23-25, 25-18, 25-17. Abby Owsinksi had 14 service points for Volleyball Cronies, and Ang Rutch had 13 service points.

Zack Lakitsky led Highwood USA with 14 service points.

Sandstorm-Prestige Worldwide

Sandstorm swept Prestige Worldwide 25-18, 27-25, 25-14. Christa Mantz led Sandstorm with 12 service points. Demi Ogozalek scored 11 service points in the sweep.

Sarah Paluck's 12 service points was best for Prestige Worldwide.
