Published July 13. 2010 05:00PM

A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said on July 8 about 9 p.m. troopers were responding to a report of shots fired on a desolate dirt road in Lynn Township when they observed a vehicle in front of them and pulling off the road.

Troopers stopped to check on the driver, who was identified as Brian Price, of Palmerton. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. He was taken to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing. The DUI charge is pending test results, troopers said.
