Theft from vehicle incident probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a theft from a vehicle incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the incident occurred on Monday, July 12, along Port Clinton Road, in Port Clinton, in an area commonly referred to as "The Rock."

Troopers said Joshua Kenneth Muthard, 19, of Emmaus, parked his car at the above location so he and his passenger, Jason Andrew Held, 18, also of Emmaus, could go swimming at "The Rock."

Sometime between 3 and 5 p.m. unknown persons used a rock to break the passenger side window on Muthard's Chevrolet Cavalier to gain entry and removed numerous items.
