Drunk in Slatington

A Slatington man has been charged with public drunkenness following an incident that occurred about 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14.

Borough police responded to the area of 578 Main St. to a report of an intoxicated male. On scene officers found Troy Park, 41, of 620 W. Franklin St., highly intoxicated. He was then cited.

Police also noted that Park was on parole/probation and the Lehigh County Adult Probation Department was notified of the arrest.
