Getz's Transportation is only unbeaten team

Getz's Transportation is the lone unbeaten team remaining in the Jim Thorpe Summer Basketball league after Mauch Chunk Pharmacy recently suffered its first loss of the season.

Getz's-St. Luke's

Getz's Transportation opened the second week of the season with a 62-50 victory over St. Luke's Rehab.

Getz's Transportation's Eric Busocker led all scorers with 23 points.

Ryan Hurley paced St. Luke's with a 16-point performance, while Kevin Binder netted double figures with 10.

JT Pub-Highland

Jim Thorpe Pub used the strength of a balanced scoring attack to score a 67-52 win over Highland Beverages.

Brad O'Donnell led Jim Thorpe Pub with 16 points, while Matt Yaich, Steve Haldeman and Mike Thomas all hit double digits with 14, 12 and 10 respectively.

Highland Beverages' Brad Hurley tied O'Donnell for a game-high 16 points, while Derick Reis ended up with 14.

MC Pharmacy-JTNB

Four different players hit double figures as Mauch Chunk Pharmacy posted a 76-52 victory over Jim Thorpe National Bank.

Chris McLaughlin led the way for Mauch Chunk Pharmacy with 15 points, while Kysheem Lynch, Luke Herman and Jason Miller added 12, 11 and 10 respectively.

Jim Thorpe National Bank's Steve Calcano finished with a game-high 19 points, while Nate Jones followed right behind with 17 and Jay Richardson chipped in with 11.

JT Pub-MC Pharmacy

Jim Thorpe Pub handed Mauch Chunk Pharmacy its first loss of the season with a 70-59 setback.

Jim Thorpe Pub's Tony Stoeckel led all scorers with a game-high 22 points, while Brad O'Donnell and Matt Yaich both added double figures with 16 points a piece.

Kysheem Lynch drained 14 points to lead Mauch Chunk Pharmacy, while Jason McElmoyle added a dozen.

Getz's-JTNB

Getz's Transportation remained unbeaten after two weeks of play with a 58-43 victory over Jim Thorpe National Bank.

Ben Flizack had the hot hand for Getz's Transportation as he finished with a game-high 18 points, while Eric Busocker followed with a 16-point performance.

Jim Thorpe National Bank's Steve Calcano finished with a team-high 12 points, while Nate Jones just hit double digits with 10.

St. Luke's-Highland

St. Luke's Rehab ran away with a 63-41 win over struggling Highland Beverages.

Carl Hunsicker paced St. Luke's with 15 points, while John McGinley and Ryan Hurley finished with 13 and 10 respectively.

Highland Beverages' Sam Lux shined regardless of the setback leading all scorers with a game-high 18 points.
