Credit defaults

Discover Bank, 12 Reads Way, New Castle, Del., filed five actions as follows: Christine T. Petrole, 1 S. Elm St., Tresckow, seeking $10,971.73; Edward J. Divorces started

Jesse T. Rehus, 1024 Fifth St., Palmerton, filed against Kerri D. Rehus, 328 Ore St., Bowmanstown. They were married April 13, 2002.

Robert J. Campomizzi, 309 W. Abbott St., Lansford, filed against Shelly Ann Campomizzi, 104 E. Holland St., Summit Hill. They were married May 5, 2007.

Hospital sued

Jeffrey and Emily Frable, 14 E. Ruddle St., Coaldale, filed a civil action against the Palmerton Hospital, 135 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton.

The suit states on Oct. 3, 2008, Jeffrey Frable went to the hospital for same day surgery. At about 8:25 a.m. the suit alleges, he was unconscious under general anesthesia when he was dropped from the operating table, torso first, landing on his left side with his left arm under his head causing injuries detailed in the suit.

Negligence is alleged and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of two counts.

Contract default

VNB Loan Services, c/o Box 11848, Harrisburg, filed an action against Anthony J. and Ann Adams, 189 Chippewa Trail, Albrightsville, alleging they defaulted on a motor vehicle installment sales contract. Sought is $29,053.61 plus interest, costs and fees.

Auto crash suit

Harriet Fink, 279 Bear Creek Drive, Jim Thorpe, filed an action against Erik Hertweck and MVP Excavating Inc., 456 Unionville Rd., Jim Thorpe.

The suit states an accident occurred along SR903 in Jim Thorpe in which the plaintiffs' vehicle was struck by one operated by Hertweck and owned by MVP causing serious injuries to her which are detailed in the suit.

Negligence is alleged an sought are damages in an amount "in excess of jurisdictional limit regarding arbitration."
